Who We Are Now

The Dorr Township Library is located at the southwest corner of 18th Street and Sunset Drive, just north of the George Wagner American Legion Post 127. The Dorr Township Library provides free services to all residents living within the Dorr Township boundaries with services also available to residents of the Lakeland Library Cooperative.

The library system holds over 27,400 materials including over 24,000 print materials, and 1,700 compact discs, cassette tapes and books on cassette. We also offer downloadable audiobooks and ebooks at http://lakeland.lib.overdrive.com.

In total, over 50,000 items were checked out of the Dorr Township Library during fiscal year 2009-2010! In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s T-1 connection, enjoy state-of-the-art Wi-fi service, send a FAX, purchase a hot chocolate or cappuccino, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
