Public Comment:

Director’s Report

- Programs: Stashbusters, garden club, farmers market, karate classes every Tuesday/Friday, water color class, sign up for bus trip beginning, Saturday work out hour, beer making, LED pins Fairy houses

- Publicity: Facebook up to 514, library website, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Sept-Dec. Newsletter has been published, advertising with globe for turkey drawing for Thanksgiving  

- Meetings, workshops, etc.: LLC Board meeting and Advisory meeting, MLA Annual Conference coming up in October

- Building: painting, finished work on teen room, work on community garden set up for spring 2015 - thank you teens, building will be winterized soon, new solar light was installed on flag pole, motion detectors in the bathrooms, exterior video cameras, insulation on exterior doors, Keurig is waiting for water shut off, new printer installed

- Library Closures: Oct. 16

- Volunteers: Teen group has helped with set up of tables and programs and paint and work on the community garden, additional volunteers are helping cover books, shelve, straighten shelves, etc. 

- Lakeland, State and other library news: website change over will not happen soon, Adobe privacy breach, Award 

- Patron comments/suggestions: book and dvd suggestions are being processed, programming suggestions, and makerspace kit suggestions, many compliments on new programs, excitement over makerspace kits

- Other:  Statistics, work on Procedure manual, work on 501(c)3, work on Welcome packet, Library Cat, new credit card
