Renew, reserve, or request an item?

Renew - Currently the Lakeland Library Cooperative system automatically renews items up to two times, provided the items do not have a hold or the items are not set to auto renew. You will still receive a notice through your email, text or phone call that items are due. Please read, or listen through the messages to the due date to confirm the automatic renewal of your items.

If you wish to renew your items before the automatic renewal kicks in, log in to your library account using your your 14 digit library card number and the PIN you chose at the time of registration. Under Checkouts, you will see all items that are currently out to you. Click the check box(es) of the items you wish to renew and click Renew Marked.

Reserve - If we don't have an item you want, you can place items on hold from home using the Lakeland Cooperative Catalog. Your other option is to stop in to the library or call us at 616-681-9678, give us your library card (or in the case of a phone call, your number) and have us request your item.

Request - If there is an item that is not on our shelves, please write it down on the slips provided by the circulation desk, drop it in the suggestion bowl, and we will do our best to get your item, within the guidelines of our collection development policy.
