Public Comment:

Director’s Report

- Programs: Stashbusters, garden club, Family Movie night, Story Time, Kids Zumba, Farmers market, Teen Forensics lab. Advertising and planning underway for Winter Bazaar and the Holiday Open House.

- Publicity: Facebook up to 569 - goal of 600 by December, library website, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, work has begun on the Jan.-March newsletter, advertising with globe for turkey drawing for Thanksgiving, facebook advertising 

- Meetings, workshops, etc.: LLC Board meeting and Advisory meeting, staff meeting scheduled or 9am Dec. 6th

- Building: motion detectors were installed in the book sale and craft suply rooms and will soon be in the bathrooms, exterior video cameras, insulation on exterior doors has been ordered and will be installed soon, Keurig is installed and up and running

- Library Closures: November 27 & 28

- Volunteers: Teen group has helped with set up of tables and programs and paint and work on the community garden, additional volunteers are helping cover books, shelve, straighten shelves, etc. 

- Lakeland, State and other library news: 

- Patron comments/suggestions: book and dvd suggestions are being processed, programming suggestions, and makerspace kit suggestions, many compliments on new programs, excitement over makerspace kits

- Other:  Statistics, work on Procedure manual, work on 501(c)3, review work on Welcome packet, review audit report, 4 year advocacy and outreach plan

Old Business: Director Evaluations due to Barb by Nov. 24th

New Business: Invitation from the Hopkins Library Board to attend their December meeting/board cookie swap on Dec. 9th, state aid report, Holiday closures 2015
