Benefits Policy

Regular employees will receive benefits as outlined in the benefit schedules below. The Library provides health insurance under a program approved by the Board of Trustees for all eligible full-time and part-time employees on the active payroll. Eligible employees are able to enroll in the library’s health insurance plan once a year starting September 1st and ending September 15th for the following year (October 1st through September 30th).

Benefits and employee contribution amounts are subject to change as the Library deems necessary.  Additional benefits may also be offered at the discretion of the Library. Summary Plan descriptions of all insurance programs are provided to all employees by the Director.

Employees preferring to opt out of library sponsored insurance will be offered opt out compensation in the form of payouts in December following the scale below.
