Here is a list of ongoing projects at the library that can use your help! If you need volunteer time for a class, your church or just want to help out, see the list below and let us know what you would like to do.

• Processing new books: Help us get new books out on the shelves faster for everyone's enjoyment (put stickers on the spine, back of the book, barcode inside, stamp the book with our information and add a date due slip)
• Covering books (after they are cataloged, books need to be covered so that they last longer, its kind of like wrapping Christmas gifts)
• Shelf Reading: Every time someone puts something in the wrong place, we need to find it an fix it!  All you need to be able to do is count (for non-fiction books) or know the alphabet (for fiction books).
• Teach a class: We always have Basic Computer classes, crafting classes, and much more going on and we would love to have you teach something you love to others.  Come in and talk to us about it!
• Cleaning: It sounds like a little thing but our fantastic cleaning staff doesn't dust behind books and only works once a week so we can always use the extra help even just with dusting.
